Juba teist aastat järjest kuulutame välja ja anname toetajatele ja publikule teada, kes on need kolm mees- ja kolm naistantsijat, kes möödunud aasta jooksul kõige rohkem lavalaudu tallasid ning seeläbi Uppsari nägu kujundasid. Loomulikult on meil peale nonde kuue tantsulõvi veel palju - palju tantsijaid, kuid suure töö ja valatud higikoguse eest teeme täna kõige usinamatele neist kraapsu.
Mehed TOP3
1. koht - Raido maandus sel aastal auhinnalisel esimesel kohal, hüpates kaks pjedestaaliastet kõrgemale oma eelmise aasta tulemusest. Olgu, kuidas on, kuid meeste ülemise otsa vahel käis igavesti tihe rebimine. Raido tegi sel aastal teistel seljad prügiseks, kuid see pole mingi lubadus 2013. aastaks. Raido on muidu üks väga hõivatud tantsuinimene. Lisaks Uppsarile, kus ta ka juhatuses asjatab, on ta veel Eesti Tantsuagentuuri tegevjuht, Eesti Tantsukunstnike Liidu juhatuse esimees ning Tantsuteatri Zick juhatuse liige ja tantsija ka veel. „Oeh“, ütleme meie. Seda järgi teha on palju raskem, kui Uppsari meeste seas end esimeseks rebida. :) Palju õnne igatahes!

2. koht - vaid ühe esinemisega rebis end Raido järel teiseks Ranno, kes alustas Uppsari ridades pastlataldade põletamist alles 2011. aasta lõpul, tõugates napilt - napilt esikolmikust välja eelmise aasta teise koha omaniku Taneli. Ranno tantsib viimasel ajal üldse palju. Nii, et meie ei tea kuidas ta seda kõike jõuab. Usina, asjaliku ja püüdlikuna sai 2012. aastal Rannot tantsimas näha ka Läänemerel seilavatel kruiisilaevadel ja saladuskatte all saame öelda, et sel aastal võite teda kohata ka Rahvusooper Estonia laval. Kriuksuvaid pastlataldu, Ranno!

3. koht - Märt otsustas sel aastal loovutada oma esimese koha ning vahetada kohad Raidoga, kes eelmise aasta kolmandalt kohalt esimeseks spurtis. Märt on selline tantsija, keda teab nii Juuli kui ka Maali ning kes paneb silmad särama kõigil, kellega elu teda teel kokku põrgatab. Lisaks tantsusammude elustamisele teeb Märt neid Uppsarile mõnikord ise ning on sealjuures ka Tallinna Tantsuakadeemia juht, Uppsari juhatuse liige ning koos Eneliga meie kunstilise meeskonna liige. Naised TOP3
1. koht - Gerli, Gerli, Gerli!!! Ta tegi seda jälle ning uskuge või mitte, erinevalt Uppsari meestantsijate esineliku tihedast rebimisest ei pakkunud Gerlile naiste seas keegi mitte mingisugust vähegi arvestatavamat konkurentsi. Tõenäoliselt ütleme me Uppsar ja mõtleme Gerli lehviva patsi peale. Soovime õnne, teeme kraapsu ja kohtume järgmisel tantsul! Nii usinale tantsutüdrukule oleks patt hakata pikemat kiidukõnet pidama - teod räägivad enda eest!

2. koht - ausas võitluses koha eest TOP3-s näitas Liis üles suurt südikust ning parandas oma kolmanda koha möödunud aastal juba suisa teise pjedestaaliastme vastu. Liis ja tema kelmikas esinemismaneer jäävad silma ning panevad selle särama ka kõige paadunumal tantsuvõhikul. Siin tasub ainult samas vaimus edasi lasta!

3. koht - Kädi uue tulijana puksis esikolmikust välja eelmisel aastal teiseks tulnud Kadri. Tuli, nägi ja võitis, sest Kädi on üks Uppsari pesamunadest. Ning elav tõestus selle kohta, kuidas tahtejõud ja südikus sihile viivad, isegi kui varasem isiklik ajalugu tantsuga suuremaid kokkupuupunkte ei oma. Anna minna, Kädi!!!

For the second year in a row we are pleased to announce and let our supporters and audience know who are these splendid three men and women, whose dance shoes blessed the dance floors the most last year and who shaped the image of Uppsar. We of course have plenty and plenty more dancers, but for the incredible effort made and the buckets of sweat poured, we would like to honor and take a deep bow before the most assiduous of them.
Men TOP3
1. place – this year Raido landed on the award-winning first place, outdoing his last years performance by two slots on the pedestal. Be the rest it as it may, but the competition amongst men for the TOP 3 places was fierce. This year Raido emerged as the winner, but there are no guarantees for year 2013. Raido is really busy and tightly engaged with dance. Besides his activities in Uppsar, he is also the general manager of Estonian Dance Agency, head of the management board of the Estonian Union of Dance Artists, member of the board and a dancer in Dance Theatre Zick. “Sigh!” we say. This mountain is much harder to conquer. :) Congratulations are in order!

2. place – with only one performance separating him from the next man, second place after Raido was won by Ranno, who started to burn the soles of his dance shoes in the rows of Uppsar as late as in the end of 2011. In a tight race Ranno pushed out of TOP 3 Tanel, the owner of the second place last year. Ranno does a lot of dancing these days. So much so, that we don’t quite understand how he manages it all. Diligent, scrupulous and gumptious as he is, one had the chance to spot him performing also on the cruise ships sailing the Baltic Sea in 2012 and under cover of secrecy we can reveal that one might see him on the stage of the Estonian National Opera this year. May the soles of your dance shoes chirk, Ranno!

3. place - Märt decided to give up his first place this year and swap places with Raido, who rallied to the first place from his last year’s third place. Mart is the kind of dancer that literally everybody knows and who leaves everyone’s eyes sparkling after meeting him on his way. Besides keeping dance steps alive, Märt sometimes creates new ones for Uppsar. He is also head of the Tallinn Dance Academy, member of our management board and together with Eneli he belongs to our artistic team. Hooray for Märt!

Women TOP3
1. place - Gerli, Gerli, Gerli!!! She did it again and believe it or not, unlike the fierce fight among men for a place in the TOP3, there’s was no competition worthy of mention for Gerli among women. Evidently, when we say Uppsar we think about Gerli’s waiving golden curls. We congratulate and give a deep bow to You! See You in the next performance! It seems a sin to write a long praise for such an assiduous dancer, after all - the deeds do speak for themselves!

2. place – in an honest fight for a place in the TOP3-s, Liis proved her worth and outdid her performance last year, raising from last year’s third place to the wonderful second place this year. Liis and her perky ways while dancing catch the eye and make it sparkle, even when the spectator is the last person on Earth to watch dance. Well, there’s nothing more to say than, keep it up!

3. place – as a newcomer Kädi pushed out of the TOP 3 Kadri, who was awarded with the second place last year. We can only state veni, vidi, vici, as Kädi is one of our newest dancers. And a living proof that strong mind and will of heart will lead to great achievements even if one does not have a long history and previous experience in dance. Go, Kädi!!!
