Teeme tantsuga head / Doing good through dancing

14. jaanuaril kell 19 toimub Kuressaare Kultuurimajas Tallinna Tantsuakadeemia tantsurühma Uppsar eestvedamisel heategevuslik tantsukontsert. Kontserdiga kogutakse raha neuroblastooni põdenud 6- aastasele Hanno Kullile süntesaatori ostmiseks. Külalisena astub lisaks Uppsari tantsijatele üles Teele Viira. Kontsert on tasuta kuid oodatud on külastajate poolt tehtavad rahalised annetused korjanduskasti.

Valjalast pärit Hanno Kulli vanemad avastasid mõnda aega tagasi, et lasteaiast koju tulnud Hanno oskab kuulmise järgi mängida keerulisemaid ja vähemkeerulisemaid klaveripalu. Siit tekkis idee noormeest korraliku muusikainstrumendi hankimisel aidata ning rahakogumiseks Uppsari ja sõprade eestvedamisel kontsert korraldada.

Neuroblastoom on sümpaatilise närvisüsteemi levinumaid pahaloomulisi kasvajaid lastel. Haiguse aktiivsust blokeeriv ravim on hetkel kliiniliste uuringute esimeses faasis.

On January 14th at 19 o'clock Uppsar is going to carry out a charity dance concert in Kuressaare Culture Center. With this concert charity money is gathered to buy a synthesizer for 6-year-old Hanno Kull who suffered from neuroblaston. Together with the dancers of Uppsar will also perform singer Teele Viira. The concert is free, but hopefully guests will make donations into the charity box.

Hanno Kull's parents discovered some time ago that Hanno, who just arrived home from kindergarten can play more and less complicated piano works by ear. From there came the idea to help this young lad with buying him a proper musical instrument and to raise money for buying it with the help of Uppsar and friends.

Neuroblaston is the most common malicious symptomatic nervous system cancer that children suffer from. The drug which will help to block the activity of the disease is at the moment in its first phases of clinical research.

Uppsar is a contemporary, energetic and eye-catching folk dance group, which has in its artistic team Märt Agu and Eneli Rüütli. Its establishment in early 2010 was carried from desire to change, enhance and improve the world of dance. It is comprised of freelance dancers and presents Estonian traditional dances choreographed by distinguished folk dance choreographers.
Walking on the trodden paths and carrying on the folk dance legacy, Uppsar dears to dream big and is open to novel and fresh ideas.

The concert is supported by the Cultural Services of Kuressaare, printing company Printcenter Eesti AB, Grand Rose SPA and Anke Ots.

The idea to carry out a charity performance this christmas instead of the traditional christmas party came from the Uppsar dancers Jaak Kõiva and Ivar Lett.
