Veebruar on üks eriline kuu. Veebruar on Uppsari sünnipäevakuu!
14. veebruaril tähistas Uppsar oma esimest sünnipäeva. Uskumatu, kui kiirelt aeg lendab- Uppsar on juba terve aasta jagu tantsumaal toimetanud.
1 aasta on oluline verstapost, sünnipäev hea võimalus möödunust kokkuvõtteid teha ja kõiki tänada.
Esimene aasta on olnud täis mitmeid väljakutseid. Samaaegselt on tulnud teha tööd enda tutvustamiseks, kujundada sisemine süsteem ja töökorraldus, leida aeg treeninguteks, esinemas käia ja palju muud korda saata. Paljuga oleme hakkama saanud, paljuski on veel arenguruumi.
Aastaga on selgeks õpitud paarkümmend tantsu, esinetud lugematu arv kordi. Uppsari liikmeskondki on jõudsasti kasvanud. Alustasime kolme paariga, täna on esinemisvalmis juba 10 suurepärast paari. Vahvate tantsijate ja tantsusõprade üle, kes Uppsariga on liitunud, on kohe eriti hea meel. Värvikas ja rõõmsameelne seltskond annab sisemist indu ja energiat edasi uute sihtide poole liikuda.
Ainult häid sõnu jagub Uppsari sõpradele ja fännidele, kes nii virtuaalmaailmas kui esinemistel Uppsari tegemistele kaasa elavad ja meid toetavad. Suur tänu ja kummardus teile!
Soovime Uppsarile õnne, edu ja jaksu. Et jätkuks tahet edasi minna ja et ka 10, 20 ja 50 aasta pärast oleks Eesti tantsumaastikul Uppsarlased aktiivselt toimetamas ja laineid tekitamas!

February is one special month. February is the birthday month of Uppsar!
On February 14, Uppsar celebrated its first birthday. Unbelievable, how fast time goes by- Uppsar has been active in the field of dance for a whole year already.
1 year is an important landmark, birthday is a wonderful opportunity to draw conclusions and express gratitude to all.
First year has been full of different challenges. Simultaneously we have had to make ourselves known, create our organizations inner structure and system, find time for rehearsals, perform and do loads of other things. Many goals have been achieved, but there is plenty more to do still.
Within a year we have learned score of dances and performed for countless of times. The number of members of Uppsar has also remarkably risen. We started off with three dance pairs, today we have ten splendid pairs ready to perform. We are especially pleased for the great dancers and fans of dance, who have joined Uppsar. Colorful and joyful people give inner enthuziasm and power to go on towards new goals.
Only the best words can be said to all the friends and fans of Uppsar, who both in the virtual world and during performances support and take part in Uppsar’s activities. We sincerely thank you and we bow to you!
We wish the best of luck, success and strenght to Uppsar. May the will and energy to go on endure and hopefully we may also after 10, 20 and 50 years see Uppsarians actively engaged and creating waves in the Estonian dancefield!
And of course we do not forget that February is also the birthday month of Estonia!
